Gouvernance et croissance économique Application au cas des pays de l’UEMOA

L’article a pour objectif d’identifier la nature de la relation liant gouvernance et croissance économique. L’analyse des faits a montré que la cause principale de la faible croissance dans plusieurs pays d’Afrique orientale et sub – saharienne est la faiblesse voire l’absence de la bonne gouvernance malgré que certains d’entre eux sont caractérisés par une opulence des ressources naturelles comme le cas du Nigeria.
Nous allons ainsi répondre à la question suivante : Comment la sphère politique influe-t-elle sur la sphère économique ? Nous prenons comme étude de cas les pays de l’UEMOA. La corruption, indicateur principal de gouvernance influence significativement et négativement le taux de croissance dans ce groupe de pays.
