Résumé

Objectif : L’objectif de cette étude est d’étudier les effets du commerce international sur la croissance économique de l’Afrique du Sud.

Méthode:L'étude a utilisé leapproche autorégressive distribuée à décalage (ARDL) pendant 50 ans, de 1973 à 2022 etdonnées de séries chronologiques annuelles provenant de la base de données de la Banque mondiale.

Résultats : Les résultats de l’étude ont révélé que la croissance économique de l’Afrique du Sud est consécutive àla théorie de la parité du pouvoir d'achat etthéorie de Heckscher-Ohlin, en soulignant que le commerce international est utilisé pour conduire uneL'Afrique du Sud a adopté des mesures qui entraînent une baisse de la valeur de sa monnaie et une baisse de la croissance économique en général.

Originalité : La nouveauté de cette étude réside dans le fait que le gouvernement sud-africain doit êtreIl est important de prendre en compte et de comprendre les stratégies commerciales internationales en alignant le taux d'intérêt réel pertinent qui aidera à surveiller les canaux et les politiques du commerce international afin d'améliorer et de soutenir la croissance économique future. Cette étude a contribué à la compréhension des effets du commerce international sur le débat sur la croissance économique, en particulier en incitant le niveau d'échange à stimuler la croissance économique de l'Afrique du Sud pour atteindre le niveau souhaité.
